We are producing an Artwork Float for Social Alter at Tam Makers, to encourage extra people to participate in democracy. Our parade float will access out to youth and individuals of shade via art, music and technologies. We will current this artwork clearly show on Earth Day, Memorial Working day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and all through California this slide, to stimulate people today to vote in the future election.
Our special art float celebrates mom earth with a carousel of waving hands, pulled by a huge feathered serpent. Performers will notify stories of hope on a phase adorned with scenes of a better planet. Significant signs will invite people today to communicate up and vote! You can pitch suggestions for social change on the podium, or have them scroll on the information ticker.
This group artwork venture is produced by a workforce of college students and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Substantial University for internet hosting this challenge and to all our excellent volunteers and artwork, civic and educational partners, for supporting build this float and existing it to a assorted local community.
