Stick to – from the road via the valley you can hear the river Coln murmur through the h2o-meadows underneath. H2o swirls round the legs of consuming cattle, by way of the beds of yellow flags, amongst stepping-stones and past the church winding down to Bibury and the valley’s conclusion. The Coln valley is just one of our ancient landscapes very little altered by the generations, extensive may perhaps it survive.
