A bit of a final moment excursion right after sudden superior weather. I would cycled by means of the valley just lately and noticed some dereliction, so I was keen to arrive again with a camera.
Since the cycle I would been researching maps and making an attempt to investigate the destinations I would noticed with a minor accomplishment.
A odd row of residences and what appeared like a manor in Clyne. A derelict victorian university in Clyne. And possibly a military or industrial site in Rheola.
I also wanted to pay a visit to Cwmllynfell wherever an open up forged quarry was encroaching on the village and experienced already swallowed up a dwelling or two and a lane. I fancied checking out Cefn Coed Colliery Museum too.
Relished both websites at Clyne, didn’t get to see a lot as Rheola, Cwmllynfell wasn’t as attention-grabbing as I hoped as the google maps I’d been learning were out of day, and the museum was shut for winter season! Not a lousy day out however.
