Tam Significant student Sammy Whitely demonstrates off ‘Maker Field’, the animatronic metropolis he aided style and design and make with his class. This high school study course is taught by builder Geo Monley, who is also coaching me on my woodworking tasks. All this will take place in his point out-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Higher College in Mill Valley.
Together, we are acquiring a new plan termed Tam Makers, to give a community makerspace and maker courses — and develop a local community of makers, learners and instructors in South Marin.
