Tam Superior scholar Sammy Whitely shows off ‘Maker Field’, the animatronic city he helped layout and establish with his class. This significant faculty study course is taught by builder Geo Monley, who is also coaching me on my woodworking projects. All this takes spot in his condition-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Significant Faculty in Mill Valley.
Together, we are acquiring a new plan called Tam Makers, to present a community makerspace and maker courses — and expand a group of makers, learners and instructors in South Marin.
