This is a monument to incrementalism. I took the plain board I might cut for the get together, and planed it sleek. Then I believed a cherry strip may seem pleasant in the middle. Then I curved the ends and drilled a hole. Then I routed it into a nice corganic profile. By this time, it was so nice I resolved that a dedicated occasion wine-and-cheeser need to have it, so I gave it to Courtney for her birthday. All of this happened in incremental methods of about an hour, for probably 4 hrs overall operate. A few cheers for a very well-intended woodshop! Notice: It really is about 10 inches by 32 inches. Room for all your cheese!
