This is a monument to incrementalism. I took the basic board I’d cut for the party, and planed it smooth. Then I imagined a cherry strip might seem wonderful in the middle. Then I curved the ends and drilled a hole. Then I routed it into a wonderful corganic profile. By this time, it was so wonderful I made a decision that a committed bash wine-and-cheeser must have it, so I gave it to Courtney for her birthday. All of this happened in incremental steps of about an hour, for perhaps 4 hours overall function. Three cheers for a very well-built woodshop! Take note: It is about 10 inches by 32 inches. Room for all your cheese!
