Ceiling of Worcester Cathedral, hunting again in the direction of the nave.
Worcester Cathedral, right before the English Reformation identified as Worcester Priory, is an Anglican cathedral in Worcester, England positioned on a lender overlooking the River Severn. It is the seat of the Bishop of Worcester. Its formal name is The Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Mary the Virgin of Worcester. Developed involving 1084 and 1504, Worcester Cathedral signifies each and every model of English architecture from Norman to Perpendicular Gothic. It is famous for its Norman crypt and distinctive chapter property, its abnormal Transitional Gothic bays, its high-quality woodwork and its “exquisite” central tower, which is of specifically good proportions.
