Building the Art Cart

Building the Art Cart

I am doing the job with builder Geo Monley on new maker classes — and he is also coaching me on my woodworking jobs in his condition-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Higher College in Mill Valley.

Geo opened the woodshop for us for the duration of spring break, and aided me make a ‘mortise and tenon’ joint for the cellular cart I am building in his ‘You Can Develop It’ workshop. We will use this cart to showcase the Metropolis of the Foreseeable future that our middle college college students are setting up together in our ‘maker art’ courses.

Collectively, we are acquiring a new plan referred to as Tam Makers, to offer you a public makerspace and maker programs — and grow a local community of makers, pupils and teachers in South Marin.
