I am doing the job with builder Geo Monley on new maker programs — and he is also coaching me on my woodworking projects in his point out-of-the-artwork woodshop at Tam Large College in Mill Valley.
Geo opened the woodshop for us in the course of spring split, and aided me make a ‘mortise and tenon’ joint for the cell cart I am creating in his ‘You Can Establish It’ workshop. We will use this cart to showcase the City of the Foreseeable future that our middle college college students are setting up with each other in our ‘maker art’ classes.
Jointly, we are creating a new method called Tam Makers, to provide a general public makerspace and maker classes — and develop a local community of makers, pupils and instructors in South Marin.
