I am constructing a ‘maker art cart’ to exhibit the work of our college students and artistic collaborators. This cart will initially be made use of to showcase the City of the Foreseeable future we will be creating with lower and middle-university students this spring, all through our weekly maker art lessons. I created the 3D types in this established with Sketchup, to visualize this cart in detail ahead of starting construction.
I am performing with my co-instructor Geo Monley on this venture, in his great is woodworking workshop at Tam Higher University in Mill Valley. Currently, he gave me a large hand to build the cabinets that will assist the wonderboxes and town landscape. He also showed me an animatronics city referred to as Makerfield, which his higher faculty students are now setting up.
Geo and I prepare to acquire a community makerspace around his wooden store at Tam Higher and improve a community by way of a mixture of maker lessons and open hrs for adults and teenagers. Extra on this later.
