I am setting up a ‘maker artwork cart’ to screen the work of our students and resourceful collaborators. This cart will 1st be utilized to showcase the City of the Long run we will be generating with reduce and middle-university college students this spring, throughout our weekly maker art lessons. I manufactured the 3D styles in this set with Sketchup, to visualize this cart in element ahead of beginning building.
I am performing with my co-teacher Geo Monley on this undertaking, in his wonderful is woodworking workshop at Tam Higher Faculty in Mill Valley. Now, he gave me a huge hand to make the shelves that will support the wonderboxes and town landscape. He also confirmed me an animatronics city referred to as Makerfield, which his high school students are now developing.
Geo and I system to develop a general public makerspace all-around his wood store at Tam Large and develop a group via a blend of maker courses and open several hours for adults and teens. Additional on this later on.
