Birmingham Heritage 7 days Open Day at Bournville Parish Church: St Francis of Assisi.
Numerous buildings in Bournville Village had been open up on the heritage open up day on Saturday 11th September 2021.
First I went to Bournville Village Primary School. then the Quaker Friend’s Meeting Residence, and ultimately Bournville Parish Church (St Francis of Assisi Church).
Below you had to sanitise your fingers, and scan the NHS QR code as you went inside of for a search.

Done 1925, by W Alexander Harvey. Brick with bare minimum stone dressings Roman
tile roof with Lombardic eaves cornice. In a round-arched design. Basilican in
approach with apses east and west, narrow lean-to aisles and north and south porches.
Granite arcade coluans whose capitals are alternately carved and unoarved. 6 bays,
the aisle window and couplet to just about every bay. Exceptional woodwork in the stalls. South
chapel of 1966. The church types a group with the Parish Corridor to which it is
bodily linked on the left.
