Birmingham Heritage 7 days Open Day at Bournville Parish Church: St Francis of Assisi.
A variety of structures in Bournville Village have been open up on the heritage open up day on Saturday 11th September 2021.
First I went to Bournville Village Principal College. then the Quaker Friend’s Assembly Dwelling, and at last Bournville Parish Church (St Francis of Assisi Church).

Accomplished 1925, by W Alexander Harvey. Brick with minimum amount stone dressings Roman
tile roof with Lombardic eaves cornice. In a round-arched design and style. Basilican in
approach with apses east and west, slim lean-to aisles and north and south porches.
Granite arcade coluans whose capitals are alternately carved and unoarved. Six bays,
the aisle window and couplet to each individual bay. Superb woodwork in the stalls. South
chapel of 1966. The church kinds a team with the Parish Corridor to which it is
bodily joined on the still left.
