Today is Remembrance Day in Canada (and other nations) , and we use the purple poppy (because of to the poem In Flanders Discipline, prepared by Canadian John McCrae) in memory of individuals who died battling for our flexibility.

Please take two minutes out of your working day to try to remember them.

And if you have time hear to this superb song from singer Terry Kelly known as “A Pittance of Time”

For the past calendar year my daughter and her buddies have been doing the job to restore a war memorial at her Superior School (she’s the one in the googles D)-I am pleased to say they finished just in time for their Remembrance Working day assembly on Friday-way to go!

She took this venture on herself since she was disgusted by the point out of the memorial last calendar year-now the university is likely to get the woodwork cleaned and new flags etc….I am pretty happy of her and her close friends!
