This is the Joel White-designed Bangor Packet, a sliding seat rowing wherry, below development in Instructor Bruce Blatchley’s Present-day (wood composite) system.
We built the boat of three levels of slim veneers over a basket mould. The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 pounds.
