A prototype model has been produced for ‘prior-verification’ for the Practical Craft Skills Woodworking Skills course. The model features a propeller driven by pulleys off the front wheel axle and is largely constructed from mahogany, with oak front wheels and a propeller pulley wheel. The propeller spinner, front and rear wheels, pilot, and pulley wheels were turned on the wood lathe, and the finish was achieved with transparent colored stain and varnish.
