The Church of St Mary the Virgin in Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire

St Mary the Virgin, Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire

Ian is on the road again, heading to North West and head office (UK) in Warrington. He wakes up early in the morning and goes for a walk on the prom while Jools goes for swimming. After picking up the car, he starts his journey to Fotheringhay Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and executed. He stops at St Mary and All Saints church, where the House of York, including Richard III, used to attend. This church has a beautiful design and houses two mausoleums of the House of York.

Ian then continues his journey to Titchmarsh where he finds the village picturesque with half-timbered houses. He takes photos of St Mary’s church with wall paintings and sets off for Warrington to visit a friend. On the way, he gets delayed due to snowfall, but he manages to reach his friend’s place safely. He then receives a call from someone he was supposed to meet, and they advise him to get there earlier due to heavy snowfall. Ian programs the route to the resort and makes it safely, even with the fuel warning light on.

Overall, Ian’s journey involves a mix of history, architecture, and travel issues. Despite the snowfall and traffic delays, Ian makes the most of his journey and manages to visit some beautiful places.
