Significance: The home has a variety of Italianate elements, including a projecting bay, roof accented with big brackets, and bracketed porch roof, doors and home windows. The wooden-body developing, now protected with cement-asbestos shingles, actions about 28′ x 45′ with projecting bays. Projecting porches were taken out from the next and 3rd flooring on the west side. There are numerous interior capabilities of observe, like the woodwork on the stairway doorway, window, and cabinet hardware a mild fixture in the dwelling space door and window trim and beveled glass in the east bay window. On the next flooring, there are ornamental hinges, components and doorknobs, as nicely as initial lavatory mild fixtures. Decorative hinges and door components are also found on the 3rd ground. The property was designed in the early 1870s by John Waggoner, a carpenter who had lived in Oskaloosa given that 1851, who lived listed here with his wife.
