We are creating an Art Float for Social Improve at Tam Makers, to encourage much more men and women to take part in democracy. Our parade float will attain out to youth and people today of shade through artwork, music and technological innovation. We will current this art exhibit on Earth Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and all over California this tumble, to really encourage folks to vote in the next election.
Our exclusive artwork float celebrates mom earth with a carousel of waving hands, pulled by a huge feathered serpent. Performers will explain to stories of hope on a stage decorated with scenes of a much better earth. Large symptoms will invite people to converse up and vote! You can pitch tips for social adjust on the podium, or have them scroll on the news ticker.
This community art undertaking is created by a staff of pupils and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Higher College for web hosting this undertaking and to all our amazing volunteers and art, civic and instructional companions, for aiding create this float and existing it to a assorted community.
