Granville Island is a peninsula and searching district in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is found in Phony Creek instantly throughout from Downtown Vancouver’s peninsula, less than the south conclusion of the Granville Street Bridge.

A weekly Farmer’s Market place has been ongoing given that the early 1990’s – this was the first modern day Farmer’s Current market in Vancouver.
Granville Island Brewing Co. is also the name of a beer enterprise which originated on Granville Island in 1984, but whose key base of functions was moved to Kelowna, British Columbia some time later. In 2009 it was procured by Molson’s Brewery and carries on to brew little batches of its types at the primary website, and presents beer-tasting and excursions of their brewing amenities.
In 2004, Undertaking for Public Areas named Granville Island “One of the World’s Terrific Places”.
