The plug cutter is mounted right about the locator pin which suits in the pre-drilled holes in the plywood. By slicing about 7/8s of the way by means of the wood on a person facet and finishing the slash on the other facet, time used ejecting the plug from the cutter is saved and tear-out of the bottom layer is decreased.
