American inventors and brands overtook Europe as the world leaders in innovation and good quality. Most populace centers of 2000 inhabitants supported selfcontained woodworking “mills” that supplied the neighborhood sector with complicated wood products and solutions such as shutters, window sash, attractive mouldings, paneled doors,and “baseball bats”! Be part of the employees and students from Colorado Mountain College’s Historic Preservation system as they present the record of these devices and display their use with choose parts from their working selection of vintage devices.
Biographies:
Robert W. Ogle is an Affiliate Professor and the Director of the Historic Preservation Programs at Colorado Mountain College. He is an advocate for enhanced preservation making arts curriculum growth worldwide. He attained a B.S diploma in Finance and Economics from Philadelphia University, a Certification in Historic Preservation from Bucks County Neighborhood College, and a Master of Historic Preservation degree from the College of Kentucky.
Patrick Haire is a Venture Supervisor and college member in Colorado Mountain College’s Historic Preservation Packages. He is a grasp woodworker who specializes in the research, restoration, and continued use of vintage woodworking devices. Prior to signing up for Colorado Mountain School, he restored (2) historic woodworking mills and operated his individual woodworking studio/store in Humboldt, KS.
