We created fantastic progress on all fronts in this week’s ‘You Can Make It’ workshop with my coach and associate Geo Monley, in his state-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Large College in Mill Valley.
Our friend Alice Menge and Phyllis joined us for at the start of the session, and I laser lower for them some lovely eagle styles for a new artwork job.
I then finished the body of the artwork cart I am setting up for my individual maker lessons, to showcase our students’ operate for the City of the Upcoming study course.
Geo’s large school class finished ‘Makers Field’, the animatronic city they developed beneath his guidance. The class has performed a good occupation with this challenge, which is now completely ready to clearly show off at Marinovators, a nearby maker faire at the School of Marin at the conclusion of the week.
I have joined forces with Geo to develop a new plan named Tam Makers, to provide a public makerspace and maker programs for adults and teenagers at Tam Significant — and develop a local community of makers, learners and lecturers in South Marin.
