The Monastery of St Martin of Tibães (Portuguese: Mosteiro de São Martinho de Tibães) is a monastery located in the parish of Mire de Tibães, in close proximity to Braga, in northern Portugal. It was the mother property of the Benedictine order in Portugal and Brazil, and it is recognised for the exuberant Rococo decoration of its church.

Background
The initial info about a monastic group in the location – the Monastery of Dumio, near to Tibães, started by Saint Martin of Braga – dates from the 6th century.
The Monastery of Tibães was started all-around 1060, and its feudal rights ended up granted by Henry of Burgundy, Depend of Portugal, in 1110.
