Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a free of charge occasion that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We offered some of the neat projects our customers developed in our makerspace: elegant boxes, wooden bowls, robot arms, interactive artwork and devices.
This year’s featured show was a Time Machine made by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders ended up on hand all day to reveal this ground breaking after-school project, which brings together art, know-how and storytelling — employing Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited readers to make their very own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut styles, and color markers. They made some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the demonstrate. Anyone seemed to take pleasure in their practical experience with Tam Makers: little ones, mothers and fathers, makers and woodworkers all had a great time earning artwork with each other and studying from each individual other.
It was a good way to celebrate artwork and science and inspire kids to make a much better entire world.
Marinovators took area on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College or university of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Room #245 in the new Educational Heart.
