I am operating with builder Geo Monley on new maker classes — and he is also coaching me on my woodworking jobs in his point out-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Significant College in Mill Valley.
Geo opened the woodshop for us all through spring crack, and aided me make a ‘mortise and tenon’ joint for the cell cart I am developing in his ‘You Can Create It’ workshop. We will use this cart to showcase the Metropolis of the Foreseeable future that our middle college college students are creating jointly in our ‘maker art’ courses.
Together, we are producing a new method known as Tam Makers, to offer a public makerspace and maker classes — and increase a local community of makers, learners and academics in South Marin.
