The Local community Boat Task students, led by Captains Wayne Chimenti and MB Armstrong and veteran teacher Marci Van Cleve, introduced the fourth boat created in the plan, the 32-foot sailing vessel EPIC.

The Community Boat Task is a exclusive partnership in between the Northwest School of Wood Boatbuilding (the direct group), Port Townsend Faculty District (#50), Chimacum College District (#49), 4-H/Washington Condition University (WSU), and the Puget Audio Voyaging Society.

It is an “all ages, all volunteers” local community-oriented non-gain group specializing in free, accredited programs for high college learners.

Intergenerational maritime training is the mission of the Local community Boat Shop.
The Store strives to give youth a “feeling of spot” by connecting them to the natural environment, the overall economy, and the folks of the Olympic Peninsula.
