the spar cafe and bar in olympia washington. one of the oldest eating places in oly, it utilised to be a popular spot for the timber/lumber business group at the time upon a time. the shots on the partitions and seemingly ancient woodwork denote its’ antiquity. i expended many a fond afternoon listed here pretending to do research, or sitting with pals conversing incessantly around limitless cups of espresso and cigarettes. we beloved to head to the spar for a later afternoon “breakfast” following a night of consuming. it wasn’t ‘coz we liked the foodstuff, it was ‘coz it was the spar.
