This was my next time in St Margert’s Lothbury the to start with time was portion of Open Residence, it was a dreadful day, pouring with rain and I seen the church nesting round the back again of Lender of England, to be genuine, any where would have been great to shelter, but this wonderful church was greater than most.
That was several several years ago now, and I thought it about time I compensated a return visit.
While I was at it can be doors prior to ten in the early morning, it was previously open up, and apart from some conversing coming from the back again workplace, I was the only person there, at least in sight in any case.

There was a church right here in the 12th Century, but there was a grand rebuilding along Perpendicular lines in the early 15th Century. They are as good as the Bank throughout the street. All in all this is a splendid church as befits its site, entire of treasures which did not originally belong to it, which looks curiously appropriate. The church seems to be open every day through the week.

St Margaret Lothbury is a Church of England parish church in the City of London it spans the boundary among Coleman Street Ward and Broad Road Ward. The organ was constructed by George Pike England in 1801. It was restored in 1984, stands in its original circumstance and incorporates nearly all its first pipework.
The church was specified a Quality I listed making on 4 January 1950.
