It failed to commence out to be round, or oval I guess, it commenced out as a standard sq. box, but I imagined it was a little bit much too chunky or a little something, so I determined to round around the corners at the bandsaw.
The main entire body of the box is Kingwood, just one of these dense, oily tropicals that does not acquire a film complete very well, so it experienced just a person light coat of Danish Oil end, and some furnishings wax.
The lid is cherry, with two a little curvy strips of walnut jogging via it. It was slice from a larger sized piece that I did a whilst back just as a proof of concept for a long term challenge, which turned out to be this one particular.
