We produced superior development on all fronts in this week’s ‘You Can Make It’ workshop with my coach and spouse Geo Monley, in his state-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Significant School in Mill Valley.
Our friend Alice Menge and Phyllis joined us for at the start out of the session, and I laser minimize for them some gorgeous eagle designs for a new artwork project.
I then finished the body of the art cart I am building for my have maker classes, to showcase our students’ do the job for the City of the Potential course.
Geo’s higher college course completed ‘Makers Field’, the animatronic town they produced beneath his assistance. The course has accomplished a fine task with this venture, which is now completely ready to demonstrate off at Marinovators, a nearby maker faire at the College of Marin at the close of the week.
I have joined forces with Geo to build a new application identified as Tam Makers, to present a community makerspace and maker programs for grownups and teenagers at Tam High — and improve a community of makers, college students and instructors in South Marin.
