School district staff, officers and development reps led Schooling Minister Mike Bernier on a tour of the $20 million Delta Secondary university seismic enhance challenge. The $19.8 million venture is funded through BC’s award winning Seismic Mitigation System. It involves seismically upgrading 11 of the 13 blocks at Delta Secondary, like the library, automotive and woodwork shops, learning centre and cafeteria. The venture also consists of relocating the art and graphics area block and utilizing the place to expand the courtyard and incorporate far more natural light to the corridor.
