I’d hoped to buy a low-priced wood box from the nearby thrift joint. Following a couple times. Success!
The Remixologist in me envisioned a remixed box with Serious attitude! Test it out.

$ 4.94 – Binder (Goodwill find)
$ 1.20 – Black Ribbed Position Mat (ThriftStore find)

:::::::::::: ReMix Techniques
(1) Dissemble the box
(2) Sand the box
::::: The box had a polyurethane end
::::::The complete had to be removed to utilize the new complete
::::::In this article is the important to finding the distressed look
::::::First, the box have to have a veeneer (plywood basis)
::::::It is sanded so portions of the primary veeneer complete keep on being
::::::At the time applied, the stain will darken some of the box
::::::Other portions will be lighter
::::::Up coming, the initial stain is used liberally and as a substitute of wiping it off
::::::keep it on right up until it is tacky
::::::Lastly, utilize one more coat of stain
(3) The box’s base cushion is made out of a black ribbed
