About the Artist: Mark Palmquist is an independent furniture designer and craftsman and builds tailor made cabinets, chairs and tables in his wooden studio in Frederick. He is an industrial designer with more coaching in household furniture design and style from the Royal Academy of Good Art, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Palmquist has refined his woodworking skills at the Center for Home furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine and teaches woodworking at the Delaplaine Arts Heart.
