A segment of the Billiard / Sitting Place at the Eastman Residence. The woodwork of the billiard area is teak. The wooden was fashioned into panels that showed the grain and coloration of the wood, and the floor boards were being joined with butterfly pegs. This space was used as a billiard space for only a quick time. Eastman made a decision to have the billiard table moved upstairs to his second-ground bedroom in 1908, building this home into an informal Sitting down Home with considerably of the exact home furniture. For his remaining twenty-four several years below, he utilised it as a silent retreat wherever he could study his newspapers and publications, and, in the 1920s, listen to his radio. The conclusion was manufactured to restore it as the before Billiard Home to present Eastman’s casual and recreational facet. Found at the George Eastman Home and Gardens, 900 East Ave in Rochester, NY.
