Purple Sunbird (Eclipse Plumage/ Non-breeding Plumage)
The purple sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus) is a smaller sunbird. Like other sunbirds they feed mainly on nectar, whilst they will also just take insects, specifically when feeding younger.
