Listed here is the maker artwork cart I constructed at Tam Makers, in its first journey from the woodshop wherever it was created to my dwelling in Mill Valley.
I am joyful to report that the cart items in shape properly in the again of my Prius, as planned. We designed the cart thoroughly so that it could be rolled around, taken apart and pushed away effortlessly. Its longest section is 72” (to healthy in compact autos) and its widest is 32” (to match by means of doorways).
In our maker artwork lessons, we use this artwork cart to showcase the operate our pupils. For its initially exhibition, the cart featured the Metropolis of the Long term that our center-university students crafted with each other in spring 2016. We will also use it for our Magic Theater challenge, for the 1st functionality of Ubu’s Dreams, our shadow puppet clearly show for the future Pataphysics of Dada show.
Quite a few thanks to my mentor and companion Geo Monley for his enable in coming up with and creating this cart. Together, we are establishing a new makerspace named Tam Makers, to server a increasing group of makers, students and instructors in South Marin.
