Ella McKenzie. a Glen-Course tug, is the last wood tug designed by McKenzie and Derrick Company LTD., at the Dollarton Shipyard in North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1951.
She was commissioned by and named for the grandmother of the president of McKenzie Barge & Marine Methods LTD., R.R. McKenzie.
Ella McMenzie labored as a harbour tug and dredge tender together the BC coast and in Vancouver, until eventually 1971.
Her obligations also incorporated cleaning up oil spills in Coal Harbour.
She was utilised in gentle commercial functions by subsequent proprietors until she was restored for pleasure use.
