It truly is my very first lamp built of Senegalese calabash. Simply because of thickness of the fruit ( in some destinations it was about 1,5cm) carved parts are quite deep. On the top rated of the lamp you will find closing component locked by magnets. The lamp was painted with wooden oil in rosewood colour. Black pieces of the sample are burnt calabash area.
The foundation of the the lamp is carved from the block of alder wood and painted in the exact same color as lampshade . The stand is adorned with black jewellery waxed string.
