St. George’s Anglican Church, a picket church built in the Gothic Revival design in 1876 underneath the supervision of George C. Jerrett. It was presumably created by guys of the congregation and other gentlemen of the town. Major inside functions involve the open gable beam and timber ceilings, plastered walls and the fact that it is in practically authentic affliction with only a several additions. All of the first woodwork has been retained. It is a landmark in Brigus, the two from the land and sea. It served the Anglican Congregation of Brigus and some bordering regions as a church, until it was bought (to the St. George’s Heritage Committee Inc.) in 2004.The primary bell tower, which was destroyed all through a storm all-around 1940, is prepared on currently being reconstructed.
