The Restore and Restoration is taught in the 4th, or summer season quarter at the Northwest Faculty of Wooden Boatbuilding.

Students study to evaluate a boat’s condition, perform an informal survey, and develop a maintenance or restoration approach for vessels. They master to securely get rid of each individual part of a picket vessel, fix it or build a new, substitution element, and reinstall it in the vessel.

The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is located in Port Hadlock WA and is a personal, accredited non-revenue vocational school.

Our mission is to instruct and preserve the fantastic artwork of picket boatbuilding and conventional maritime crafts.
