Organ – in just organ chamber to the
south facet of the chancel.
The recent organ is the most modern
of several various devices
used in the church in a number of
distinctive destinations.
The organ is a rebuilding, in 1970 by
Cousans of Lincoln, of the previously
Keates, a few handbook, organ
at first put in in 1911. Albert
Keates was an great provincial
organ builder and there are quite a few
examples of his get the job done in the spot,
and more afield. The third guide
(the Choir organ) was removed
through the rebuilding.
The organ console and casework sits
in an arched opening to the
south facet of the chancel with
dummy pipes to the east wall of the
nave. The organ casework is of the
“pipe-rack” type with gold painted
pipes and oak woodwork.
