Listed here is the maker artwork cart I designed at Tam Makers, in its to start with journey from the woodshop in which it was produced to my home in Mill Valley.
I am satisfied to report that the cart parts match flawlessly in the back again of my Prius, as prepared. We developed the cart meticulously so that it could be rolled about, taken aside and driven absent simply. Its longest portion is 72” (to suit in compact motor vehicles) and its widest is 32” (to healthy by doorways).
In our maker art lessons, we use this artwork cart to showcase the work our pupils. For its first exhibition, the cart featured the City of the Long run that our middle-college learners constructed jointly in spring 2016. We will also use it for our Magic Theater task, for the very first efficiency of Ubu’s Goals, our shadow puppet exhibit for the approaching Pataphysics of Dada exhibit.
Several many thanks to my coach and lover Geo Monley for his assistance in developing and making this cart. Collectively, we are building a new makerspace known as Tam Makers, to server a developing community of makers, college students and lecturers in South Marin.
