Pandemic Project
I was after a woodworker – experienced a household shop, enjoyed obtaining out there and generating sawdust whenever I experienced the likelihood. A few initiatives worked, other people not as nicely, but I constantly had fun.
Going from a residence (with house for a store) to a condominium a selection of a long time in the past, meant that I had to give up functioning with wood. I was Ok with it, but there was generally that drive to return, but under no circumstances felt that I would have the area.
The pandemic produced me begin wanting all-around to see what I could do, to hold occupied and I started off to see youTube video clips or blogs about whittling/wood carving.
I appreciated the plan that extremely tiny space was needed. Incredibly handful of tools ended up necessary. And to get commenced back again into woodwork, would value a whole lot less than all of my former electric power resources.
I bought a couple of tools and begun watching video clips and experimented with carving faces, and so on. and I just could not do it (acquiring zero inventive expertise) and then I noticed a online video about spoon carving…this appeared to be a lot more my model.
Incorporating a hook knife to my tiny collection of applications allowed me to make the hollows of spoons an I am now having fun with this. Pictured here are my initial 5
