The Scamp Purple Lantern Rally was held at Mystery Bay Condition Park on Marrowstone Island WA, a half mile from the minor waterside town of Nordland. Eleven Scamps participated in this initial rally, the biggest accumulating to day.

It is a sailing pram 11 toes 11 inches lengthy, 5 ft 4 inches wide, with a sail of 100 square feet. It is ballasted by 174 kilos of water.
