Patriki-Tuzluca is a village in the Famagusta District of Cyprus, found on the Karpas Peninsula. It is under the de facto command of Northern Cyprus.

Patriki is the ancestral house of singer George Michael (Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou). His father, Kyriacos Panayiotou, was born here in 1935 and lived in the village working with loved ones until finally 1953 when he left for England.[2]

The village has been underneath Turkish occupation since the 1974 invasion. The village utilised to be inhabited by Greek-Cypriots. In his book Historic Cyprus (second edition 1947) Rupert Gunnis (who was Inspector of Antiquities on the island at the time) wrote:

“The principal church of the village devoted to the Archangel Michael is with out fascination. In close proximity to by lies a compact Chapel of St. George, with a couple fragments of early woodwork crafted into the depressing iconostasis, which is or else shaped of boards from packing-scenarios. The weak and late seventeenth-century holy doorways from some wrecked church are stored in a coffee-store.

“One particular of the most curious nearby customs nonetheless remaining in the island is practised each and every Easter Monday in this village all the married folks gather into the churchyard, and the males, without the need of taking off their coats, have to crawl through a gap in a huge stone which stands right here. If the guy is not able to crawl through this stone it usually means that his spouse is unfaithful to him, for it displays that he has antlers which prevent him from passing through. In 1935 only 1 gentleman caught, and he, on his return home, conquer his spouse and has given that started off divorce proceedings, the actuality that he was not able to move through the stone being regarded as by him and his co-villagers as enough evidence.”

Pre 1974 the major church utilised by the Greek-Orthodox villagers was Archangelos Michail, on the other hand it was desecrated by the Turks article-1974 and has been utilised as a mosque since. The lesser church of Agios Georgios is in a lousy condition, remaining desecrated also and utilised to store fertilizer for agriculture.
