The 14 odds and ends I posted this early morning ended up all taken at Keith Logan’s acreage on 7 July 2019. The upcoming shots I edit and submit had been taken that afternoon, when we visited URSA, just a small generate from the Logan’s.
A significant team of us expended the morning of 7 July 2019 at the house and home of Keith and Sandy Logan. They are living NW of Cochrane on a 35-acre parcel of land. The group break up in 50 percent and took turns to search at Keith’s breathtaking pictures and outstanding woodwork and also to bio/blitz their land, to file all flora and fauna noticed. We have been treated to espresso and delightful cake in Keith’s massive woodworking barn. Some people saw a quantity of birds, even though they were being just about all really distant sightings. I think the closest were being a pair of Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, feeding younger that have been in a tree cavity. I did control to get a shot of a Rose-breasted Grosbeak, too.

All early morning, we were being followed all over the back garden by the Logan’s two enormous dogs – two attractive, friendly Newfoundland pet dogs, named Sally and Blueberry (?). I adore to see their cats, far too. On previous visits, there ended up a few cats, but I really don’t know if they only have two now. What a wonderful spot they are lucky sufficient to connect with ‘home’.
Just after lunch, we drove a limited distance to one more position, URSA, which stands for Universal Rehabilitation Company Agency.
