Created of round bar of pine (the helix) and 3 parts of edge-glued panel (pine) glued with each other (the base). Waxed.
Resources used:
Triple helix: electric power drill and a stand, chisel, knive, sandpaper – and some maths to calculate the optimal values for the drill little bit diameter and the hole positions.
Foundation: gap cutter to reduce the simple round disks, then knive to carve the remaining spherical shape, and some sandpaper for last contact.
