Our immediately after-university students at Tam High are building a City of the Potential together, employing arts and electronics to make a model of what our planet may be like in 100 decades.
In our next class, they built the metropolis they imagine for this challenge and took turns discussing their tips with every other. In their post-apocalyptic circumstance, the wealthy are divided from the poor, who mine the sea flooring and are oppressed by a authorities operate by equipment.
They also picked characters and objects for their metropolis — some of which will be laser slash and printed in 3D. Upcoming, they uncovered to solder stick figures out of copper wire, then made gentle circuits with LEDs and batteries. We have a wonderful group of 8 center faculty students, ages 12 to 14, in this soon after-faculty course.
